Ishaan Patel

Ishaan has served as Shoora’s COO since 2018 when the company launched its first fund. He has overseen the Company’s investments and business operations, including acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, portfolio management, information technology, and human resources. Over the course of his career, Ishaan has structured and managed complex real estate investments totaling over $750 million. Ishaan has a degree in Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology, Scheller College of Business and is a member of several real estate advisory groups in the Atlanta area.

After graduating with a PharmD degree from the University of Georgia in 2004, Gene pursued a career in pharmacy for several years. Gene began managing and investing in a wide range of real estate investments starting in 2016. Since that time, Gene has been continuously acquiring and operating a variety of properties across the state of Georgia. Under Gene’s leadership, those properties have flourished. Gene specializes in the investment and management of multifamily apartment complexes, student housing, and commercial buildings.

Jon Allen

As a seasoned finance executive with 16 years of experience, Jon previously served as Partner in a $1.4 Billion AUM real estate investment manager, where he oversaw property and fund accounting, investment underwriting, deal structuring, and tax planning for the firm’s self-storage assets. He co-founded and grew the self-storage division from zero to 1 million square feet, directing acquisitions, sales, and expansion projects while negotiating agreements and managing all loans. Additionally, Jon structured tax-advantaged joint ventures and tenants-in-common partnerships with high-net-worth investors, delivering millions in accretive value.

Catrina King

Catrina has 19+ years in revenue marketing, martech, and business development across multiple industries such as Financial Services, Civic Development, SaaS, and E-commerce. She was instrumental in building the go-to-market team and at fintech startup FormFree, working directly with Equifax, Fannie Mae, and major financial institutions. She has led branding initiatives for cities to promote lifestyle and tourism. Her most recent role before joining Shoora was pivotal in scaling an enterprise healthcare company to double its gross revenue while integrating a global workforce, AI-driven marketing operations, and account-based marketing.
